Chem-Dry of Augusta

Company was a no-show on original appointment day. I then recieved a call from Susan to reschedule. The franchise owner also contacted me, so good customer service by the office staff. They still arrived late, I retuned home 5 hrs later and carpet still wet. Dry time was told to be shorter 1 to 2 hours, guess not. Good sell though. Hum drum experience but I didn't have high expectation after the no show. Prob won't use again unless with coupon. They do not vacuum prior to cleaning, as " all of the cleaning packages" included vacuuming per website.

Have used them multiple times in the past and had good results with a technician arriving on time and working efficiently. Today I had an appointment scheduled and the window came and went without a phone call. I called the company four times over two hours and never got a call back regarding the status of my appointment. I called again and cancelled due to other things on my schedule and did not even receive an apology or explanation.

So I got this service trying to save money from my regular carpet cleaning service. Everyone wants to save right....well you get what you pay for. So he showed up at my door on time, but very unprofessional looking, ok it's just looks don't mean everything i don't want people judging me on my looks. so I show him what areas I needed to be done. he says ok and I walk out to take my son to school its a 10 min ride maybe 25 minutes total to and from. he didn't even have equipment out when I left but when I got back he was done with both rooms and working on the hallway. So I'm thinking maybe this a pre treatment he will then go over the rooms again. 10 minutes later he was putting up the hoses. so I called the guy that confirmed my appointment the day before. he said something to the guy he came back in and went over some area's that I pointed out. it basically looked like he poured water all over my floor then vacuumed it up. spots of my carpet where dry and others where soaked. since I do this often really only needed the high traffic places done and they seemed to stand out more once water hit them so he spent a few more minutes going over it. but by the time he was done maybe another 10 minutes going over the high traffic areas I basically just said ok better. so he would leave so it wouldn't cause anymore damage I'm hoping my regular guy can fix it. it did smell good before left for work (my regular guy I would smell the clean carpet for weeks) when I came home it smelt like old standing water. I'm hopeful that I didn't damage my carpets.

I had an appointment scheduled for today at 9am; No call no show!!! Very unprofessional!!! I've tried calling several times to see why no one has showed up to my home to clean my carpet, but no answer!!! I also left a voicemail!!! Thank God for Stanley Steemer!!! They will be coming to my home shortly!!!

This company did a wonderful job and on short notice, as my house was sold. Thanks so much! I would highly recommend this company for all your carpet cleaning needs. M. Florek
